This training was created by the very passionate and experience therapist and was delivered to more than 200 children with special educational needs or others typically develop but with social communication difficulties with a great success.
You will need 10 minutes to watch the video. No more than 10 minutes to prepare resources and you are ready to play with your children.
This can vary as each group of children is different size, needs and skills. Some facilitators will decide to play again or change the rules. Others will need more time to process new rules than others. Average time: 20 to 35 minutes but it is possible to run this even longer (especially when you dealing with non-speakers or children with learning difficulties).
Play&Learn is an 8-week online program for proactive parents who want to spend quality time with their family and develop children language, communication and social sills. Play&Learn Program is using Lego based Therapy principles. This therapeutic program is created to help children to develop social communication skills away from computers in a playful, graduated and extremely engaging way. This is fantastic program for SENCO’s and Learning Supports Assistants to be delivered in the school setting or as an additional intervention for speech and language therapists.
Everything is online – no travel required.
All the resources are in a form of video, PDF worksheets, instructions, etc. Simply:
- watch the video lesson
- print the resources,
- prepare the bricks and you ready to play.
Lego bricks are not included.
Occasionally, you may need some other things that you find around the house such as: bowls, cubs, dice, chopsticks, etc.
Registration for the 2020 class open from 7 am (London Time) on 8th of June 2020. The live program is 8 weeks and runs from 22nd of June 2020 until 16th of August 2020.
If you’re traveling or have other life commitments during the Play&Learn enrollment period, it’s not prop=blem. All students receive access to the material for life of the program (and yes, that includes the updates we make every year).
Play&Learn is for parents who would like to spend quality time with they children away from the computers. For parents who would love to develop they children’s social communication skills. For parents with the special needs child so they can help them to become independent and happy adults in the future. This is also great for Learning Support Assistants who work with children with autism. For the NHS professionals who are seeking for more ideas on how to develop children social communication skills. This is also right for the charity that help children with special needs and don’t have time to plan the activities and prepare resources.
Our program is not right for experienced Lego based Facilitators.
It’s also not right if you would like to learn about Lego based Therapy underpinning knowledge.
Play&Learn isn’t right for someone looking for a quick fix of your child difficulties or challenging behaviour.
Definitely. The principles you’ll learn are universally applicable. We have many students from around the world.
You will need the laptop or mobile phone to watch the lesson and access to the printer. That’s it. As long as you’re hungry to learn, you’ll fine.
The tuition for Play&Learn is &69 pp if you purchase this as a individual person.
The tuition for the whole setting such as schools, charities, etc. it’s £1500 for the one setting. This will give you access to to the training for as long as you want and you can train all your staff and parents. There is no limits if you buy the whole setting training. The deadline exists because, if you sign up for Play&Learn, we want you to get started. We pour enormous human effort into program and we want to devote that effort to students who are committed.

No. Play&Learn is intentionally unaccredited and informal. If you need a certificate of completion, badge or official course credits, this program is not for you.
