Frequently Asked Questions

YES, these lessons were created for you in a simple way and you only have to follow the instructions:

  • watch the video
  • prepare resources
  • follow the schedule and
  • HAVE FUN! and improve your children’s social communication skills!

This training was created by a very passionate and experienced therapist and was delivered to more than 200 children with special educational needs or typically developed but with social communication difficulties with great success.

You will need around 10 minutes to watch the video. No more than 10 minutes to prepare resources and you are ready to play with your children.

This can vary as each group of children has a different size, needs and skills. Some facilitators will decide to play again or change the rules. Others will need more time to process new rules than others. Average time: 20 to 35 minutes but it is possible to run this even longer (especially when you dealing with non-speakers or children with learning difficulties).

Play and Learn is an 8-week online program for proactive parents who want to spend quality time with their family and develop children’s language, communication and social skills. Play and Learn Program is using Lego® – based Therapy principles. This therapeutic program is created to help children to develop social communication skills away from computers in a playful, graduated and extremely engaging way. This is a fantastic program for SENCO’s and Learning Support Assistants to be delivered in the school setting or as an additional intervention for speech and language therapists.

Everything is online – no travel required.

All the resources are in the form of videos, PDF worksheets, instructions, etc. They are placed under the video lesson. So, you simply:

  • watch the video lesson,

  • print the resources,

  • prepare the bricks and you are ready to play.

Lego bricks are not included.

Occasionally, you may also need some other things that you find around the house such as bowls, cubs, dice, chopsticks, etc.

There is no one answer to this question as different people start the training on a different day.

Let me give you an example. If you started your training on Wednesday then the next lesson will unlock after 7 days (on Wednesday).

If you’re travelling or have other life commitments during the Play&Learn enrollment period, it’s not a problem. All students receive access to the material for the life of the program (and yes, that includes the updates we make every year).

After 14 days, you can request the unlocking of all the lessons by sending an email to bea@beainclusive.com

Play&Learn is for parents who would like to spend quality time with their children away from the computers. For parents who would love to develop their children’s social communication skills. For parents with special needs child so they can help them to become independent and happy adults in the future.

This is also great for Learning Support Assistants who work with children with autism. For the NHS professionals who are seeking more ideas on how to develop children social communication skills. This is also right for the charity that helps children’s with special needs and doesn’t have time to plan the activities and prepare resources.

Our program is not right for experienced Lego® – based Facilitators.

It’s also not right if you would like to learn about Lego® based Therapy underpinning knowledge.

Play & Learn isn’t right for someone looking for a quick fix to your child’s difficulties or challenging behaviour.

Definitely. The principles you’ll learn are universally applicable. We have many students from around the world.

You will need a laptop or mobile phone to watch the lesson and access to a printer. That’s it. As long as you’re hungry to learn, you’ll find the way.

The tuition for Play & Learn is £69 pp if you purchase this as an individual person.
