Lego® based Therapy
In-House Training
What's included?

If you plan your INSET day because you would like to introduce Lego® based Therapy in your setting, why not invite Bea?

This full-day training is organised in the form of a practical workshop and not only is fun but also will teach your staff how to organise and run your own Lego® – based Therapy.

This training was created to help you to support children’s communication, language, social skills and shaping emotional and behavioural responses. This training will help you to deliver meaningful, child-centred and evidence-based special needs provision where everyone understands, knows and follows the rules.

Delivering and running Lego® – based Therapy in your setting requires clarity, vision and the ability to execute it consistently throughout the whole school. Without a road-map or guidance, the process can be overwhelming.

This is a fast-track to your school development and saves you years of expensive trial and errors and most importantly, you will be supporting your children from day one.

First, email with at least two different dates for your INSET training so Bea can check her availability. We are very flexible and accommodating so I’m sure we will be able to come to you in one of the given dates. YES, you are in the right place! Brick by Brick Lego-based Therapy training will give you all the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver sessions in your setting so you can help children that you support. You also will be equipped in all the necessary resources and assessment tools. I will also advise you on what other resources you will need that you can find around your setting, for example, loose Lego bricks.

I had plenty of Lego facilitators on my training and they benefited greatly from it. Some of them were struggling with ideas, others with putting structure to the session or with challenging behaviour. On top of that, a lot of facilitators struggle with assessments and shaping emotional and behavioural responses and most of the facilitators struggle with the assessment, targeting, planning, delivering and evaluating.

This training was created by a very passionate and experienced therapist and was delivered to more than 200 children with special educational needs or typically developed but with social communication difficulties with great success. Also, hundreds of facilitators (that I’ve trained) follows my lead with great success.

This training is planned for the full-day from 9 am-16 pm so please prepare yourself. Take plenty of water, snacks and plan your lunch as we will have only 30 minutes for lunch and two short breaks (15 minutes each at 11 am and 14.15 pm).

This is the full-day workshop for schools that want to deliver their own Lego® – based Therapy sessions to improve children’s communication, language, social skills. Improve their children’s behaviour, decrees anxiety and shape their emotional and behavioural responses. This therapeutic program is created to help children to develop social communication skills away from computers in a playful, graduated and extremely engaging way. This is a fantastic intervention for:

  • the whole school (SENCO’s, teachers and Learning Support Assistants)
  • as an additional intervention for speech and language therapists or social workers
  • fantastic tool for the SENDIASS officers and charity workers who support families with special educational needs (autism in particular)
  • short break providers
  • school counsellors and psychologists

This is In-House training so takes place in your school/setting. Make sure that we will have an internet connection so we can present the video case studies and if there are 20 delegates then five tables with four chairs at each table.

Your school/setting will be given the master copy of the planning and resources pack that you are allowed to photocopy further internally. On top of that, you will be emailed the link with other resources and most importantly with the assessment tools.
