Our full-day training event, held on November 24th, 2023, at the Redbank House in Manchester, is designed to equip delegates with the skills and resources necessary to organise and facilitate their Lego®-based Therapy sessions.
Led by Beata Bednarska, a renowned expert in delivering Lego®-based Therapy, Autism Lead Practitioner, and Master of Counselling and Positive Psychology, this comprehensive workshop will immerse you in an experiential learning environment. Working in teams of four at dedicated tables, you'll engage in games, activities, and building processes that simulate actual therapy sessions.
Throughout the day, you'll be able to watch video case studies and gain valuable insights into your role as a facilitator in Lego®-based Therapy. These case studies will allow you to reflect on practical techniques, learn from best practices, and understand potential pitfalls to avoid when introducing this innovative approach in your settings.

Car Park and public transport
There is great public transport in place as the Redbank House is located in cetre of Manchester.
If you're tavelling by car to Redbank House use M88QA postcode. Please be advised there is no on-site parking, the car park is for staff only. There is free on-street parking in the area or pay and display car parks nearby.
If you’re travelling by rail, Redbank House is located a short 10 minute walk from Manchester Victoria. If travelling into any other Manchester station they all have rail services operating to Manchester Victoria.
If you're travelling by tram:
The closest tram station in central Manchester is Shudehill Interchange or Manchester Victoria. However most trams will terminate at Shudehill.
The easiest route from the tram stop at Shudehill to Redbank House is to walk onto Miller Street and follow it round to Cheetham Hill Road then at St Chad’s Church follow St Chad’s Street and Redbank House is located at number 4.

If you're travelling by bus:
135 Go North West – service that runs to and from Bury to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre.
41 Go North West – service that runs to and from Sale to Middleton.
Both of these bus routes run on Cheetham Hill Road and they run to and from Piccadilly gardens which is in the heart of Manchester. The bus stop is next to St.Chad’s Church located at the end of St.Chad’s Street.

Breaks and Lunch
During the training, we'll provide two short breaks, one at 11 am (10 minutes) and another at 2 pm (10 minutes), allowing you to refresh and network with fellow delegates. A delicious light lunch, tea, coffee, and water will be served at 12.30 pm (30 minutes). If you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements, please inform us in advance. Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your lunch.
